I spent a week helping Doug Balliett produce his new popera seria, The Consent of Lucretia, in San Antonio. I played piano, bass guitar and harmonium, and sang Junius and Collatinus. Resonant Interval

I was on the bill of Resonant Interval #29, part of a weekly series of experimental music held in one of the empty units of the Mekong Center. I’m still exploring my long-loop approach to improvising at the piano, and this was a good chance to try it out in performance.

Alcestis / Babinagar Living-Room Tour

Doug, Alison and I (Mollie had the flu!) performed Alcestis and Babinagar in Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Over four days, we performed for over 180 people, including an unforgettable night at Kay and Talbot’s stunning Casa Neverlandia. Selkie Project: gestation
